April Ross is only one of only a handful of beach volleyball athletes to win medals more than once at an Olympics. Alix-Klineman is set to compete alongside Ross at Tokyo for her third gold medal over the coming days. Ross aims to earn her Olympic first gold medal however, she also hopes to win even more. In fact, at 39, it could be her final chance to achieve it. The athlete is optimistic she will be able to win top awards. Ross on NBC Boston, said that when the team performs consistently or well they could win a gold. Also, it's the result of luck. Ross was born the 22nd, 1982 in Costa Mesa California. She lived there along with her entire family. In addition to competing in various sports, Ross also attended Newport Harbor High School.
