Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother comes from Spanish and English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. The family is initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and she did not study English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet.
