Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A. She is an American actress well-known for portraying tough, yet vulnerable character. Linney is a member of a family of actors her father was the playwright and writer Romulus Linney. She graduated of Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. In the year 1990, she began her career in shows on Broadway and eventually receiving praise for her performances on stage in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
